Morgana stirred the 火災, 火 and hung a cauldron above it. The door creaked behind her. A smile curved at the corner of her lips.
“I believe あなた bring me good news?” she asked, without turning to look at the intruder. She didn’t need to. She knew who was inside her hut. The foot steps halted behind her. Morgana stirred the broth she was working on while Agravaine watched her silently. “My lord, あなた are awfully silent. I believe you’ve had a tough day?”
“Enough, Morgana!” he hissed.
Morgana smiled to herself and turned around only to find the moody lord in front her was cursing under his breath. Pouting her lips in mockery, she walked towards him, slowly. “Something’s troubling あなた my lord?” she placed her hands on his armoured chest and softly caressed it. Agravaine reached out and grabbed her tiny wrist before she could pursue further and tossed it aside.
“Your plan… that smart plan of yours to revive the knight, Lancelot, is about to fail! Your trick in getting him to court Gwen, isn’t working!! She and Merlin suspect Lancelot is enchanted, and very soon your baby brother will find out as well and prosecute Lancelot for good. How is that for good news!!” he hissed and paced the ground. Morgana smiled again.
“So Gwen is smarter than we thought!”
“She has all the qualities to be a better クイーン than あなた do!”
“NEVER!!!!” Morgana shouted and her eyes blazed, sending Agravaine crashing to the wall. Pots, bottles and jars arranged on the shelf above him crashed on 上, ページのトップへ one another. Agravaine used his マント, 隠す to shield him from the falling items.
“NEVER SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT!!!” she growled and this time she paced the ground. Dust and dirt covered Agravaine as he struggled to pick himself up. Huffing with the weight of his armour and cloak, he finally got to his feet.
“It’s them あなた should be venting your anger on, not me!!” he shouted back at her, wiping the blood trailing down from his temple.
“Speak in praise of Gwen and I won’t hesitate to kill you, my lord!” she warned without looking back. Agravaine wiped the blood from his lips and dusted the dirt off his cloak. His back ached as did his knee. The armour was awfully heavy. He wouldn’t have worn the armour if Arthur hasn’t started suspecting him. Ever since bandits foiled the trip to the valley of kings, there were rumours circling Camelot about a probable traitor living within the walls of Camelot. Arthur has the knack of suspecting everyone in the council, everyone except Gwen, Merlin, Gaius and the knights. Even he, his own blood uncle was not spared. Agravaine had to cheat his departure and used the armour as a decoy to fool Arthur’s eyes. How long will he has to do this, he has no idea. “So… they think they can outsmart me?”
“They suspected him from the first day,” he said. “Reviving a dead person isn’t a hard task for you, I reckon, but convincing him to be the person we’ve ロスト isn’t as easy as あなた think. Do あなた really know how persuasive I needed to be to get that darned nephew of mine to accept that this is the Lancelot we ロスト months ago? Have あなた any ハート, 心 at all to understand the trouble I went through to get your plan working… do you?” Agravaine snapped. Morgana turned around, her brows arching while her lips curled into a sly smile.
“Of course I do, my lord. I might be a witch but that doesn’t mean I have to be mean to you… of course I appreciate all あなた did.”
“Then start behaving like あなた do!!” he snapped again. She stepped closer but he edged her out of his way with his hand.
“I haven’t much time. I came によって to tell あなた that your cute plan is about to be foiled.”
“And how would あなた know this?”
“I heard them talking… Merlin and Gwen, in her house”
“You’re stalking her now?” Morgana laughed and walked back to her broth.
“I wasn’t stalk… forget it!” Agravaine sighed and neared Morgana. Grabbing her によって the arm, he turned her around.
“I have no idea what your plans are on this but whatever it is, it better be good. Right now, I wouldn’t say so…”
“Relax, my lord. I didn’t revive Lancelot to get him back to Camelot and have his reunion with Arthur. I revived him for Gwen.”
“Tell me something new!”
“Gwen and Lancelot shared some mutual feelings for one another when she let herself be captured によって some bandits who came for me. She saved my life and he tried to save hers. Of course, my メリダとおそろしの森 little brother went after her as well and Lancelot found out about their 愛 and decided to sacrifice his. He went away, never to be seen again.”
“And now you’re using that old spark of theirs for your own good! Ha!!” Agravaine laughed and released her. “And I thought あなた to be a smart girl Morgana. Have あなた seen their love; the way Arthur and Gwen look at each other? Have you? They are full of love, my dear!! They are young, vibrant and filled with pure love. Nothing seems to shake their confidence and nothing can rattle their belief in one another. Nothing!! Ask the man who tried to drive them apart yet failed!!”
“That’s because あなた did the wrong way, my lord. Of course I know about their pathetic love… I was there, remember!” Morgana 発言しました in disgust.
“And あなた think bringing Lancelot back into the fold would help?”
“Yes. Gwen might have set her ハート, 心 firmly on Arthur, and to be honest, there is little we could do to break that grip, but… with magic, あなた can break even the strongest 愛 one has seen.”
“Ahh… I see your plan already. Lancelot brought back to create the chaos and cause a rift between Gwen and Arthur. Hmm, but aren’t あなた forgetting something? It takes two sides to create a sound. We are hearing only from Lancelot’s side.”
“Then we must do what’s necessary to get Gwen’s side as well.”
“How?” Agravaine asked impatiently. Morgana smirked and walked to her chest, kept at the furthest right side of the hut, in a corner. She opened the chest, plunged her hand inside and rumbled through her belongings. After a while, she pulled her hand back out and along with it, came a bangle. It was circular and silver in colour. She closed the chest and went back to Agravaine.
“What’s that?”
“This, my lord, is what will get us the job done” she 発言しました shortly and clasped the bangle in her hands tightly. Closing her eyes, she chanted. The 火災, 火 beneath the cauldron sprung to life. The broth in the cauldron boiled. The hut shook. 表, テーブル and chairs rattled. Agravaine looked around in surprise rather than in fight. He had seen this before and had been accustomed to it. But he hates it each time it happens. Morgana’s chant slowed and everything went back to its usual mode slowly. She opened her eyes and gave the bangle to Aggravaine.
“Give this to Gwen and make sure she wears it. It’s 魔法にかけられて and the moment she wears it, she’ll be falling in 愛 with Lancelot.” Agravaine took the bangle from her.
“Sure this will work?”
“Are あなた doubting my magic?”
“Need to be sure. If anything goes wrong, I have to くま, クマ the consequences, Morgana, remember that!”
“Of course I will, my lord. あなた can trust me. Have I let あなた down ever?”
“What will happen, then?”
“You need to polish your persuasive skills once again, my lord. Convince my baby brother about his lady love’s treason and make him catch them both in action. The rest will fall in to place quite nicely”
“And the ラット Merlin? Will he sniff this plan out?”
“Maybe we need to get him distracted, just to be on the 安全, 安全です side.”
“I’ll handle him and Gaius,” Agravaine 発言しました and kept the bangle safely inside his cloak. “I just need to know one thing Morgana: How did あなた revive Lancelot? How did あなた know he’d be alive?”
“Let’s say I received help from reliable sources on the other side of the world. Worry not too much my lord, as we have huge task at hand. Let’s break Arthur’s ハート, 心 and destroy him forever! And reclaim what is mine!!”
“You shall have what’s yours my lady, I give あなた my word. Arthur will be destroyed によって the very person he loves.”
“And I can’t wait to see that.” Morgana and Agravaine laugh together.
