Is Masaomi Kidas hair originally black または dark brown?

So I keep seeing ランダム gifs of masaomi having black hair when he was younger but I can't seem to find anything on it and I'm kind of confused. I can't remember if they actually say that he had an original color または anything.

Based on that it could be implied that brown is his natural hair color in the アニメ while it hasn't been explicitly confirmed または stated what his true natural hair color is in the マンガ / LNs.
