Do あなた あなた usually watch an アニメ mostly because, of the art designs または how do あなた usually choose an アニメ before あなた watch it?

The plot first usually. There are rare amounts of time that I watch an アニメ for its art.

If an アニメ is 人気 I'll watch it, but I mostly watch アニメ for the plot. If the plot isn't good, I won't watch it.

I watch an アニメ for the story and characters. Thats how I got interested in Gregory Horror Show. And I choose an アニメ due to how 人気 it is. I usually see what's the 次 best thing. I also ask my フレンズ what アニメ they watch to see what kind they like

I'm all over the place when it comes to why I watch certain anime, it just depends on my mood at the time.

Sometimes I'm in the mood just to seek out a specific genre, sometimes I look for very pretty animations, sometimes I try whatever is 人気 at the time, sometimes I only want to watch a 12 ep max anime, and sometimes I just browse recommended アニメ for me on my anime-planet account and go for one that has a good plot :)

Clearly, I don't have a solid answer as to why I watch アニメ x3

Usually when I hear a really good opening & soundtrack I look at the アニメ and its plot!

Primarily the アニメ series's summary/storyline and genre as well as (of course) its art/animation style and デザイン :)

Everything is important to me. Usually the plot is もっと見る important than the art, but sometimes there are shows that I just can't take the art, even though the plot seems interesting.
(an example being nna. the backgrounds look gorgeous. the plot is interesting. the characters... oh my god i cant handle that art at all im sorry ill never watch it)

Actually, I am one of those people that looks up the アニメ first on Google images; I can usually tell if I will like it または not. I know I shouldn't judge a book によって its cover but if the art gets on my nerves または it looks perverted I usually know I won't enjoy it. Then I wikipedia it for the plot and that has to be interesting and then I bookmark it and add it to my ever growing list.

But it should be noted, just because something is pretty doesn't make it good. Some of the best plot アニメ I've ever seen are "unattractive." But art does have a lot to do with how I end up liking the アニメ overall. I can really appreciate the time put into making it.

How I choose アニメ from that never-ending 一覧 depends. I go on rotations it seems on anime. I'll watch really 人気 ones then I'll make a point of watching a series I've never heard of. Then I'll watch ones that have tons of characters, then I'll watch one with only a few characters (gives my brain a break remembering names haha). Then I'll watch a new one with bright pretty designs, then I'll watch an older anime. And then there's genres... ha I should stop before I rant anymore.

Sorry for long (prob boring) answer. Good 質問 though! It's interesting to read everyone's to see how much art makes a difference and why people pick what they watch. Pic just represents some of the different art styles I've seen.

For me I pretty much always go によって plot of the series,I almost always look up the アニメ and see a little of what it's about just to get an idea of what to expect,although there have been a couple times where I've wanted to see an アニメ series just based on the art itself..but it's very rare for me to do that.

If I see a picture of it and I think it looks cool then yeah I might look it up and read a description, but if it doesn't sound good I'm still not going to watch it. On the other hand if I find an アニメ who's plot sounds interesting, but the art style is to distracting I also won't watch it.

I can never say for sure why I watch an anime, it changes all the time. Some, like Kara no Kyoukai, I chose to watch because I loved the art (Shiki's Mystics Eye of Death Perception, specifically). Some, like Serial Experiments Lain, I discovered at ランダム and watched on a whim. Others, like Panty and ストッキング with Garterbelt, I gave a chance because they're popular. And then there are those that I watched because they seemed underrated, some I watched because the plot seemed interesting,etc.

It varies from アニメ to anime.
