If あなた re-watch it, make sure あなた watch it in the original Japanese version, with the English subtitles. The English dub version cut out so many scenes, edited a lot and cut out some episodes as well... To the point where it doesn't even make any sense! That's because the original is not very kid-friendly (like a bit of violence, homosexuality... The English version even went as far as to change the gender of one guy to hide his gay relationship with the other guy... And made 2 certain girls into cousins and changed some of their dialogues to hide some of the lesbian connotations between them... And many more).
Anyway, it's amazing, really. The story is awesome, so pure and beautiful! The creator of Sailor Moon is indeed very creative... just talented! Even though the アニメ is old, it's still so interesting! Even though it can be predictable to today's generation, it still keeps あなた watching! Everything was done so greatly! The character development, the plot, the romance... I couldn't ask for anything more!
The マンガ is even better! The creator meant this series to be もっと見る for teens, but made the アニメ a bit もっと見る for younger age. In the マンガ everything was perfect! It focuses on the plot, has great character development, easy and straight to the point!
