But a detective named L（デスノート） is trying to catch him because he is a murderer. i know that is a suckish way of explaining it but that basically what it's about. But either way it's addictive.

He then meets a shinigami with a serious 林檎, アップル addiction and battles an insane, yet oddly awesome detective.
