They skipped so damn much... and added ランダム stuff, too! And they left out good characters like Rin, Kureno, Kakeru, Machi, Kimi, and Naohito. And also, mentioning that Akito was female would've been a good thing to put in there.

I had it the other way around. I watch Digimon Tamers back when I was a kid. Then, a few years later, a "manga" (made in China) came out based off the show. They made a 4 volume マンガ out of a 51 episode series. They left out so many details it made me watch the 表示する again just to figure it out. To make things worse, it breaks the fourth wall, make the tamers sound like superheros, and in the last chapter, あなた don't know if Jeri survives until the last few pages.

I 愛 the manga, it's one of my favorites. Then when I learned that an アニメ was coming out I was excited.
Then I watched it.....they made it into a やおい anime.
The マンガ is NOT yaoi, it isn't even considered shonen-ai.

I hope I don't get flamed for this... but the Fruits Basket アニメ was a real let-down.
The マンガ was soooo amazing, but I couldn't even get passed one episode with Yuki's girly-voice T_T I'm sorry to the fans... ^_^"

I was like that with Shugo Chara. Don't get me wrong, I 愛 the manga, and I do like the anime, but there were too many fillers and important details left out in the アニメ for me. And the ending was too different from the マンガ and there were too many threads left unconnected.
