Also, whos name is the internet under? If It's under your parents name, then he cannot disconnect it, unless he meddles around with your computer, または steals your Internet cable if あなた use one. または sets a パスワード on it.
I'm 23, and watch anime. There are people even older than myself that also watch it. アニメ is for all ages of people. Prehaps if he sat down, and actually watched a series, he might like it. What's not to like? Cute characters, good story lines, good plots, and of course the ファン service <3
Also, I saw someone make a statement that カートゥーン are childish, but アニメ isn't. There are plenty of カートゥーン that I still like, that I will never grow out of because they were what I watched while growing up. カートゥーン like Tom and jerry, Dexters laboratory, Pinky and the brain, Angry beavers, and more.
Another suggestion: Save up some money, and buy the dvds. Sure, they can cost a bit. But it is nice to have アニメ things <3
One last thing, It's not the things あなた watch, または personal hobbies that makes あなた either an immature, または mature person. It's the way handle things in life, and the way あなた treat other people. If he himself really is a mature person, he would atleast hear what あなた have to say on the matter, instead of blocking his ears, and looking the other way.
