Lady Gaga is in a seriously bad romance in ‘American Horror Story’ — with multiple people. We got our first glance of Gaga covered in blood on the new cover story for ‘Entertainment Weekly,’ and it’s exactly what we wanted.

So when Lady Gaga‘s character, Countess, isn’t running around in long pink gowns, she’s drinking her victim’s bloods — yes really. Gaga as well as creator, Ryan Murphy, revealed some details and photos of her new sexy, and seriously disturbing role in 

Yes, Gaga drinks the blood of people — but don’t call her a vampire. “I prefer the term ‘ancient blood virus,’” Ryan said of Countess, to

, in which Gaga is the September cover. “It’s not vampire. It’s really a form of hemophilia in a way. There’s no capes and fangs.” The lovers of Countess, Donovan (Matt Bomer) and Tristan (Finn Wittrock) are also craving human blood.

“He’s very interested in domesticity and sort of nesting and hunkering down and having her to himself every now and then, and that doesn’t go over so well with her limitless hunger,” Matt told the magazine. As for her Tristan, we can guess that he’s pretty obsessed with her. “He’s got an addictive personality. I think he’s hypersexual also. It makes him a prime candidate for the Countess’ charms and he is very willingly seduced and then turned by her,” Finn said.

She will also have some sort of romance with Ramona (Angela Bassett), but it’s in the past. So Ramona teams up with Matt to get revenge. “They are powerful women at opposite sides and at odds with one another, each believing that they’re right,” Angela said.

On the cover, Gaga is biting her nail of that crazy silver hand — you know, the one ringing the bell. There’s blood all over her neck, but other than that, she looks freaking amazing. Inside, we get a first look at all the characters, including James March (Evan Peters), the builder of the hotel who we will see in flashbacks through the season. “He’s the builder and owner of the hotel from the 1930s, and he is unique. He’s designed a hotel to cater to his specific needs, which tend toward the dark evil,” Evan told the mag.

Can we just say, we’re SO excited for this show. I should just say now, this is about to become my favorite show of the fall. Are you as obsessed as I am?
