As stupid as that movie was, you can't just hand-wave like that and pretend it didn't happen. From a story perspective, what would it accomplish? It's not like these movies pay attention to continuity anyway. From a more practical standpoint, it's not like saying it was a dream will magically make it go away. We STILL watched and suffered through it. It's STILL a bad movie. If you make bad decisions in life, you need to live with the consequences. Even if those consequences are something as ghastly as (No! Don't say it!) negative reviews.

Well, objectively, if dinosaurs are possible in that universe, then no it's not bad, so it doesn't need to be a dream.
Though it should be because of Humphrey's main whining problem. XD
Of course, if Humphrey was the one dreaming that, it's almost like it didn't matter, but dreams can sometimes make people think differently maybe. Also If someone made a mistake in a dream, it can be a sign to not actually be a jerk.
