It was a beautiful 日 in Jasper Park. Humphrey as the grey Omega woke up in his den. He was still brokenhearted since he knew Kate will marry Garth. And finally he made up his decision to run away as the lonely wolf. He walk to his friend, Shaky, Salty, and Mooch to tell this.

Humphrey's POV

I think this is it. I went to the 丘, ヒル as I saw all my Omega フレンズ was there. "Hey guys" i 発言しました to them. "hey Humphrey" salty said. "why do あなた look so sad ?" 発言しました Mooch. "well guys I have to tell あなた thet I will leave this pack. I can't see that my love, Kate will marry someone else" 発言しました Humphrey. Suddenly three of them were surprised after hearing that their Omega leader who is also their best friend would leave. after a few 分 of silence, Shaky 発言しました "well if it is your decision, but let me tell あなた this [i]Running Away Is Not A Good Way To Solve Problem[i]". "yes I know, okay guys ... good bye... I will miss あなた all " humphrey 発言しました as he walked away from friends.

Kate's POV

When I woke up this morning I started to feel bad. I don't know what is it. "Good morning Mom, Dad" I 発言しました "Good morning honey. have あなた prepare for the ceremony ?" Eve said". I think this is the time I have to tell her about this."Mom, I have to tell あなた something.. あなた know, I feel sad after I remembered I and humphrey in Idaho back then. I think Humphrey and I begin to grow feeling each other". after hearing this, Eve shocked "what ?! あなた mean あなた愛 that Omega ?! This is ridiculous ! Alpha and Omega can't be together! that's our pack law". "I know mom. But what is the differences between Alpha and Omega ? we both wolves". her mom didn't answer that.

No one's POV

Meanwhile after Humphrey told about he will leave soon, all the オオカミ shocked but they knew they can't change Humphrey's mind and let him go. Humphrey didn't told Kate that he will leave. Then Humphrey walk to Marcel and Paddy to ask about when the train pass the Jasper park.
After he knew the answer he begin to leave and disappear through the forest.Shaky watch Humphrey leave and as the best friend he ever have, Shaky run to Winston and Eve's デン to tell Kate about Humphrey.

One day, when Eve was on a hunt with Winston, she began to stalk 3 caribou. She called Winston over quietly. They were getting closer and closer, slowly, she was ready to pounce, when one of caribou noticed her. She and Winston started running, and Eve was trying to keep up. All of a sudden, Eve hurt her paw, and fell to the ground, and a caribou hit her. Winston ran after her, and whimpered. He carried her back to the den, and wouldn't leave her until she healed, which was in two days. Having been promoted to Alpha によって Scar, Sweets still had to go through Alpha training. The only place to do this was Jasper Park, Canada. Which meant that somehow, Sweets and Scar would both have to go up into Canada.
