Well Hello, everybody, I'm Alue26, and these are the thoughts I have scince I've seen Alpha and Omega for the first time. I'm only gonna post a couple of thoughts, the other are being post when you've read these.
1. My take on Garth.
As everybody knows, Garth is supossed to marry Kate, to secure Peace in Our Time for the packs of Winston and Tony, but I think that the relation of Garth and Kate wouldn't work. For instance, Garth is, for me, an insecure person.
Now, as anybody is 読書 this, they would probably say that Garth in the beginning was 芝居 like a jock, enabeling that Garth is far for insecure, even secure for some, but let me explain: I think that Garth and Tony have a very hollow relationship. Not that I think that Tony would'nt 愛 his son, but I think Tony was preparing his son for a live for serving the pack, because he would be the 次 in line for being the Alpha. I think Garth is being insecure because he has done some things wrong in the past, and he doesn't want to disapoint his father, so he acts like he is someone else. The same in this situation is propably because he can't howl like a normal wolf. The guy is totally insecure for this handicap. My point here Is this: just after Kate is leading Garth to the place where they would howl, Kate ask at Garth what he's in to, and Garth has a 秒 thought. The same situation is when Kate wants to retreat after she heard Garth howl, Garth is 芝居 very nervously, he doesn't know what to do now.
The relationship with him and Lilly is actually a great relationship, because Lilly is also an insecrue and shy person, and with Garth she finnally has some who can share the troubles with. Really people, I don't think the relationship with Kate and Garth would'nt work. Kate is a strong character, and Garth is a insecure character. Kate should emontionally scar the guy for life. Garth even didn't dare to tell his father that he was In 愛 with Lilly, right until Kate 発言しました that she was in 愛 with Humphrey.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot; the relationship with Garth and Humphrey, well, let me put it tin this way: imagine if you're trying to make your avances onto a girl あなた really like, your trying to act really though, making an hero's pose, the whole shebang. You're walking onto the girl, ready to キッス her for the first time, and then, BANG, out of nowhere comes an idiot who's trying to make light out of the situation, 芝居 really idiotic, telling her that you're waaaaaaayy out of her leaugue, and is downgrading あなた to an charicature of your being. Well, If I was Garth, I too would say towards him 'Who the Coyote?' Now, あなた musn't think that I hate Humphrey, the character Is for me もっと見る adult then some people may think, but that for later. I just compare this relationship towards some guy I had when I went to school. Yeah, I'm not going to put names here, but that guy Is comparable to Humphrey, the only difference Is that Humphrey doesn't steal money and goes to drink somewhere.
No, I think Garth and Humphrey aren't great friends, but I think they would let eachother live.
Some people has also states that Garth is compareble towards Steele, from Balto, but no, that's just not true. Steele is an egostisticle, heartless bastard. He almost let a city die, just for his own need. Compared to him is Garth an angel, he is even もっと見る beter then his own father. The character may be annoying at first, but further down the movie, the guy is actually beginning to be an nice guy, an great neighbour, etc, just somebody to have as an friend.
