Like everyone, because he intrigues and entertains me. As the villain of DuRaRaRa!!, his approach is unique and I respect that he doesn't need to use super powers または strength to be a good antagonist and relying on intellectualism and his outlook alone can bring about such conflict and for the way he can so easily manipulate others. As I cynical person I can actually find myself relating to him, even if my actions and true personality differ from his, in actuality. He was a character made for cynics, kind of as a representation.
...but there's actually more! He's not THE best character ever written, though he is relatively clever, in my opinion. Why, あなた may ask? あなた CAN'T interpret him. Is there some tragic story behind his personality? No way to tell! Is he jealous? Is he afraid to live like a normal person, thinking that such a lifestyle couldn't satisfy him? No way to tell! Are we supposed to read deeply into him, または is he really nothing もっと見る than a jerk who's looking for a show? Maybe, maybe not!
